Lanise View Point

Located in Claveria, Misamis Oriental
Where can you find spell-binding, awe-inspiring, drool-worthy mountainscapes that still have little or no evidence of humankind’s touch? One is in the inner sanctuaries of Bukidnon and the other is in Misamis Oriental (MisOr), in a not so developed municipality called Claveria. This is also the only town of MisOr that is not located along the coast and is, by far, the largest of them all in terms of land area.
The Lanise View Point is located along the newly-opened highway that cuts across the mountains between MisOr and Bukidnon that starts in Villanueva and ends in Gingoog City. There is a quaint, cozy café at this Point called Don Narciso. Try their suman and tsokolate and, along with the view, your problems are solved!

By Public Means (DIY) – At Villanueva market, one can hire a “dulog” or “tricab”, a motorcycle-driven vehicle, to take them up to the town center of Claveria.

Tour Guide’s Note: It’s more fun in the Philippines, even in the New Normal! All my photos were taken before the pandemic, so if you want updated ones, come and travel with me next time!
